Do I need to take the artwork off the wall before you arrive?
No. Please leave the artwork installed. Our professional handlers are trained to de-install artwork safely. Moving it yourself prior to our arrival often introduces unnecessary risk.
How much space does your team need to pack onsite?
We need a clean, flat surface (like a large table or clear floor area) to lay out the artwork. If space is tight, let us know, and we will adapt our strategy or bring mobile work surfaces.
What materials do you use for onsite packing?
We use packing materials appropriate for the medium, typically starting with glassine or Tyvek® for surface protection, followed by bubble wrap and cardboard protection layers (shadow boxing) for safe transport.
Can you pack an entire exhibition onsite?
Yes. For large volumes, we recommend our mobile packing service, which brings bulk materials and equipment to your location for a faster workflow.
Is onsite packing safe for oil paintings?
Yes, provided the paint is fully cured. For paintings with delicate surfaces or impasto, we build travel frames or shadow boxes onsite to ensure nothing touches the face of the artwork.
Do you remove the packing debris after delivery?
Yes. Our white-glove service includes unpacking and the removal of all used packing materials, leaving your space clean.
